[VIDEO] Celebrating Canada Day 150 in London
Happy Canada Day 150, everyone! I decided to celebrate in London this year and filmed my experience first-hand.
Follow along with this first-person video as I trekked into London to celebrate with other thousands of Canadians and British alike!
Pros: We were able to visit Canada House (home to theย High Commission of Canada in London) and got lots of free goodies. I tasted beautiful A&W root beer, maple cookies and Nanaimo bars! It was genuinely heartwarming to see so many Canadian flags, shirts, buttons and stickers. And hear so many Canadian accents! Plus the journey in and out of London was on-time and easy!
Cons: The lineup for Tim Hortons was over 2 hours (no thank you) and the queue for poutine wasn’t much better. I’ll just have to wait!

Hello – I’m from Ontario too, so greetings from home! It looks like you had an awesome time celebrating Canada’s big 150th in London. I never realized they held such a big celebration there.

Hey Kayla! I read there were just under 70,000 people at that celebration in Trafalgar Square in London. They’ll definitely need a larger space if it gets any bigger!!! – Alanna
